Rissa Montañez is a Chicago-based Puerto Rican voice actor and perforrmer with a passion for character-driven storytelling across horror, science fiction, fantasy, and audio fiction. Known for her grounded, emotionally authentic performances, she brings depth, versatility, and a little (sometimes a LOT!) darkness to the characters she portrays.Her credits include serving as showrunner, writer, and casting director for The Dead, a fiction podcast anthology developed in partnership with Bloody Disgusting and the George A. Romero Foundation. She also voices Rosa in the audio theatrical adaptation of Jack Townsend's Tales From The Gas Station.With experience both behind the microphone and in creative leadership, Rissa brings a collaborative, thoughtful approach to every production. Her background in project management reinforces her commitment to professionalism, clear communication, and a positive creative environment.Drawn to complex characters, psychological horror, supernatural fiction, and dark comedy, Rissa believes great storytelling should make audiences feel something, inspire
